APG Low Cost Submersible Pressure Transducer

When the electromagnetic waves hit the surface of the substance, part of the impulse energy is reflected back to the sensor, either up the probe or through the air. The circuitry of the sensor then calculates the level based on the time difference between the impulses sent and the impulses reflected. True Echo™ technology is not affected by pressure, vacuum, temperature, viscosity, foam, or dust. Changes in dielectric constant or material accumulation on the probe or antenna do not affect the level measurement due to the dynamic sensing technology programmed in our True Echo™ level transmitters.

The PT-510 and PT-510W are rugged submersible pressure transmitters designed for tank liquid level measurement, water and wastewater applications, and well depth measurement.
