Dwyer Series 1950 Explosion-proof Differential Pressure Switch

Dwyer Series 1950 Explosion-proof Differential Pressure Switch

Dwyer Company Headquarters is in Michigan City, Indiana. Dwyer uses advances computer modeling software to simulate real world situations, creating more accurate measurement techniques in our products. Innovative product designs have been recognized by industry experts, including ACHR Dealer Design Awards in the Testing and Monitoring category for 2014 and 2015. Dwyer has invested in state of the art research and development facilities for best in class product testing and verification. Dwyer has a long history of innovation in designing and manufacturing our own measurement sensors that provide superior product performance.

Series 1950 Explosion-proof Differential Pressure Switch

Known for quality, reliability and accuracy, Dwyer designs and manufactures a full-line of Controllers, Data Loggers, Gages, Manometers, Monitors, Remote Displays, Switches, Transmitters, and Accessories to measure, monitor and control pressure, air velocity, flow, fan pressure, duct, and more.

Dwyer’s wide selection extends to Gages, Transmitters, Switches, Data Loggers, and Monitors for Differential Pressure. Dwyer manufactures a range of dial and digital gages to reliably measure and display pressure difference, between two pressure sources using gas or liquid in a process flow.

Sensors for air and non-combustible compatible gases have an electrical contact output at a specific difference between two pressures. Applications vary between the different types of differential pressure switches. A wide variety of switches and circuit styles enables control functions needed for any system.

Series 1950 Explosion-Proof Differential Pressure Switch combines the best features of the popular Dwyer® Series 1900 Pressure Switch with an integral explosion-proof and weatherproof housing, making it an exceptional value for either application. It is CE, UL and CSA listed, FM approved for use in Class I, Div 1, Groups C and D, Class II Groups E, F, and G and Class III hazardous atmospheres (NEMA 7 & 9), Raintight NEMA 3 (IP54). Weatherproof features include a drain plug and O-ring seal in cover. Electrical connections are easily made by removing front cover. For convenience the set point adjustment screw is located on the outside of the housing. Twelve models offer set points from .03 to 20 in w.c. (0.0075 to 5 kPa) and from .5 to 50 psi (0.035 to 3.5 bar). The unit is very light and compact — about half the weight and bulk of other explosion-proof or weather-proof switches with separate enclosures.

Features

  • Explosion-proof and weatherproof housing provides device protection for outdoor use or harsh environment operation
  • External set point screw provides easy access that simplifies making adjustments without opening or disassembling enclosure
  • Easily accessible electrical connection simplifies the installation

Application

  • HVAC applications
  • Process applications
  • All-weather applications
